Ajna Center

Ajna Center

The Ajna Center, also known as the mental awareness center, is the center for conceptual thinking and information processing. It sits between the Head Center and the Throat Center and is responsible for transforming inspiration into useful information for research and communication. Biologically, it is connected to the anterior and posterior lobes of the pituitary gland. The Ajna Center functions as a translator and cannot manifest decisions, as it has no connection to motor energy.

When the Ajna Center is defined, the mind constantly creates specific concepts determined by the Gates that define the center. People with a defined Ajna Center are less influenced by others and can use their mental function as an outer Authority. They think constantly and may have difficulty stopping their mental activity.

When the Ajna Center is undefined, the mind can be flexible and open. People with an undefined Ajna Center are able to absorb and analyze various concepts and ideas without becoming overly identified with them. They can think deeply and explore the world through their intellectual gifts. However, they may have felt pressured in childhood to follow certain thinking patterns, leading to insecurity and conditioning. Only when they accept their mental inconsistency can they use their mind as a playground and as a source of wisdom for others.

The Not-Self Theme of the Ajna Center pushes us to constantly question what we should do or say. It can make us feel insecure and pressured when we cannot firmly commit to something. By accepting our inconsistent thinking, we can use our mind as a source of wisdom and entertainment without being influenced by external expectations.
