Head Center
Head Center
The Head Center is the center for mental activity and inspiration in Human Design. It is biologically connected to the pineal gland and creates pressure to ask questions and seek answers to understand the meaning of things. This pressure drives us to expand our consciousness and connect with the cosmos. It channels our thoughts through the Ajna Center, where they are transformed into clarity and insight and ultimately expressed through speech.
When the Head Center is defined, one feels constantly under pressure to ask questions and find answers. This mental pressure is a constant source of inspiration and wisdom available to others. People with a defined Head Center have a clear way of thinking and are able to inspire and motivate others. It is important to accept this pressure and rely on one's inner Authority to avoid frustration and self-doubt.
When the Head Center is undefined, the mental pressure is less consistent and can easily lead to meaningless questions and thoughts that distract from the correct decision-making process. It is important to distance oneself from this mental noise and trust one's inner Authority. The undefined Head Center has the potential to open up to new insights and inspirations and to explore the mysteries of life.
The Not-Self Theme of the Head Center is getting caught up in meaningless questions and thoughts that bring no real benefit. To avoid this, it is important to remain a detached observer of one's own thoughts and let one's Authority choose appropriate ways to use the mind.
