Description
Generators have two major pain points. One is when they continuously do things they don't actually enjoy and are just "wasting" their energy on. Then even Generators with a high intrinsic creative potential are prone to burnout. The other pain point is when they are kept from working on their heart project even though they still want to keep going with full power. As in: "Dear Generator, it's already late. Please stop working for today."
So Generators have a lot of energy to materialize things in their life, but "manifesting" works differently here than it does for Manifestors. The energy of the Sacral Center is primarily released when it can respond to impulses. Not initiating, but responding is the key here.
The most successful Strategy for Generators is to wait for something to respond to and then, when the Sacral Center says "Yes! Let's go!", to take action in response to that sign. (For Generators with Emotional Authority, this advice would be supplemented by "riding the emotional wave" before deciding, but more on that later.)
When a Generator uses their energy in alignment with their Design, nothing can stop them. A Generator living according to their Design is rewarded with a deep sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. If a Generator does not follow their Design (this happens especially when Generators constantly try to initiate), they will likely encounter a feeling of persistent frustration and/or a lack of energy.
Not-Self Theme
The Not-Self Theme of the Generator is Frustration (or lack of energy). This feeling arises when a Generator does not live according to their Strategy and Authority.
Generator Children
Generator children need the opportunity to respond to things. Offer them options they can answer with their sacral "uh-huh" (yes) or "uh-uh" (no), rather than simply instructing them. Make sure they find activities that truly bring them joy.
