The Partnership Chart - Your Shared Energy

When two people come together, a new energetic field is created. In Human Design, we call this the Composite Chart. It shows which Centers and Channels are activated through your connection that neither of you has alone.

These "compromise Channels" are particularly interesting: they create new energy in the relationship but can also be a source of conflict, because they are only active when you are together.

The Partnership Chart also reveals electromagnetic connections - cases where one of you has a Gate and the other has the opposite Gate, completing a full Channel together. These connections create a strong mutual attraction.

Understanding Dominance and Compromise

In every relationship, there are areas of dominance: when one partner has a Center defined and the other does not, the open partner will absorb and amplify the energy of the defined partner. This is neither good nor bad - but knowing it changes everything.

For example: if your partner has a defined Solar Plexus Center and yours is open, you will perceive their emotions in an amplified way. Knowing that these feelings are not your own can take enormous pressure off the relationship.
