Solar Plexus Center

The Solar Plexus Center is the emotional awareness center and the most powerful motor in the BodyGraph. When defined, it is always the inner Authority, regardless of what else is defined in the chart. It operates in waves - emotional highs and lows that move through us like tides.

The Not-Self mind plays an important role in people with an undefined Solar Plexus Center by suggesting how they should behave or what they should say to avoid confrontations and emotional stress. Examples include:

**Avoiding confrontation:** "I don't want to go there because I don't want a confrontation." "We shouldn't say that or they'll get upset."

**Manipulating communication:** "We should say it this way to soften a potential confrontation." "I'll just be really nice and smile a lot so they like me."

**Self-protection through distance:** "There's no way I'm going there because they'll disappoint or reject me." "I'm afraid to tell them the truth because I don't want to hurt them."

These thoughts are often a reaction to the fear of rejection, conflict and emotional insecurity. They can lead people with an undefined Solar Plexus Center to deny their own needs and truths and instead focus on the needs and feelings of others.

To become healthy and emotionally stable, it is important to recognize and question these thoughts: practice self-observation, reflect on whether thoughts are authentic or influenced by the environment, strengthen one's own Authority and truth, and develop healthy boundaries to protect against emotional overwhelm.
