Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

French screen and stage actress who played her first major film role (and earned a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress) as the distraught mother in Trois hommes et un couffin (Three Men and a Cradle, 1985).

The daughter of actor Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu and model Françoise Laurent, she grew up in Italy before moving to Paris where she studied drama at 16 against the advice of her parents. She made her film debut in Roger Vadim's Surprise Party (1983). On television, she appeared in Dix pour cent (Call My Agent!, 2015–2018) and co-starred in the American romantic comedy-drama Emily in Paris (2020–).

She has remained unmarried and has a daughter named Taïs from a relationship with the documentary filmmaker and director, Richard Bean. She was born two days after actor Paul Belmondo.
