Biography
French politician, a member of the Socialist Party, who served as deputy, senator and vice-president of the National Assembly between 1973 and 1974, Minister for Relations with Parliament from 1981 to 1986 and mayor of the city of Pau from 1971 to 2006. He died on 16 May 2006.
