Biography

French attorney, educator and resistance fighter. Teitgen held the law chair in 1939 when the war broke out. Arrested in June 1940, he escaped in August and fled to the south zone where he taught law at the University of Montpellier. When the Germans occupied the free zone, he co-founded Combat, a resistance group. Outlawed by the government of Vichy, he went underground using ‘’Tristan’’ as pseudonym.

Arrested by the Gestapo in June 1944, Teitgen was jailed in Fresnes Prison, but escaped. After the war he became Minister of Information in De Gaulle’s government. He served many times as a minister under the 4th Republic, and in 1976 was named a Judge at the European Human Rights Court. He was decorated with the Légion of Honour, the War Cross and the ‘’rosette’’of the Resistance.

Teitgen married on 24 July 1934; seven children. He died on 6 April 1997, Paris.

Human Design Analysis: Pierre-Henri Teitgen as Generator 3/5

Pierre-Henri Teitgen is a Generator in Human Design – an energy type with a defined Sacral Center. Generators make up about 36% of humanity and possess an enormous, sustainable life force energy.

The Generator's strategy is to respond to impulses from life rather than initiating. When the Sacral Center responds with a clear "yes" (a gut feeling, an inner spark), that's the right path.

When Pierre-Henri Teitgen lives in alignment with their design, they experience deep satisfaction and fulfillment. The Generator's not-self theme is frustration – a sign that the sacral energy isn't following the right things.

Pierre-Henri Teitgen has Emotional Authority – the most common authority. Decisions should never be made in an emotional high or low, but only when emotional clarity settles in. "Sleep on it" is meant literally here. The emotional wave needs time to run its course.

Pierre-Henri Teitgen carries the profile 3/5 – Martyr / Heretic. The 3rd line represents the Experimenter: learning through trial and error, embracing life as a practical experiment and growing wise through experience. The 5th line represents the Hero and Savior: others project expectations and hopes onto this line, which can deliver practical solutions for universal problems.

The incarnation cross "Right Angle Cross of Planning 2" describes the overarching life purpose and direction of Pierre-Henri Teitgen in Human Design. It consists of the four gate activations of Sun and Earth (personality and design) and only becomes felt when one lives their strategy and authority.

Energetically, Pierre-Henri operates with a Split Definition.
