Biography
Sadistic Dutch police officer, SD and Waffen SS member responsible for the arrest of some 10.000 Jewish civilians and refugees during the Nazi regime. Only very few survived the concentration camps in the East.
Some of his victims were not transported, as they did not survive his sadistic interrogating methods. Even three days before the end of the war in Groningen, the place where he was SD officer, he tortured and thereafter executed 10 Dutch prisoners in Allardsoog, near Bakkeveen.
He was executed by a fire squad after a trial on 29 June 1949 in Groningen.
