Biography

American manned space mission, the seventh crewed mission in the Apollo space program and the third meant to land on the Moon. The craft was launched on 11 April 1970, at 13:13 CST from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, but the lunar landing was aborted after an oxygen tank exploded two days later, crippling the Service Module (SM) upon which the Command Module (CM) depended.

Despite great hardship caused by limited power, loss of cabin heat, shortage of potable water, and the critical need to jury-rig the carbon dioxide removal system, the crew returned safely to Earth on April 17.

The flight was commanded by James A. Lovell with John L. "Jack" Swigert as Command Module Pilot and Fred W. Haise as Lunar Module Pilot. Swigert was a late replacement for the original CM pilot Ken Mattingly, who was grounded by the flight surgeon after exposure to German measles.

The Human Design of Space: Apollo 13 (Launch): Projector 1/3

Space: Apollo 13 (Launch) is a Projector in Human Design – a non-energy type designed to guide and direct others. Projectors make up about 20% of humanity and have a special gift for recognizing and directing the energies and talents of others.

The Projector's strategy is to wait for the right, respectful invitation before contributing their guidance. Without an invitation, the Projector's wisdom is often unrecognized or even rejected.

When Space: Apollo 13 (Launch) lives in alignment with their design, they experience success and recognition. The Projector's not-self theme is bitterness – a sign that their wisdom and guidance isn't being valued.

The incarnation cross "Right Angle Cross of Maya 1" describes the overarching life purpose and direction of Space: Apollo 13 (Launch) in Human Design. It consists of the four gate activations of Sun and Earth (personality and design) and only becomes felt when one lives their strategy and authority.
