Casey Affleck

American actor with credits in Hollywood feature films, who won the 2016 Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in Manchester by the Sea. In Good Will Hunting (1997), he played one of the four boys who were buddies along with his brother Ben. The film won the Oscar on 23 March 1998 for Best Original Screenplay. He also garnered kudos for his leading role in Gone, Baby, Gone released in late 2007. The movie was directed by his brother Ben.

He became engaged to longtime girlfriend Summer Phoenix over the holidays late in 2003. The couple welcomed their son Indiana August on 31 May 2004 in Amsterdam. With their two-year-old son in attendance, the actor and Summer Phoenix married on 3 June 2006 in Georgia. Their son Atticus was born in January 2008. By early 2015, Affleck and Phoenix had privately separated, and they publicly announced their separation in March 2016. In 2016, Affleck began dating actress Floriana Lima.

Affleck has been a vegan since 1995. He has been involved with animal rights campaigns.
