Milo Ventimiglia

American screen actor known for his three-year stint on the WB TV series Gilmore Girls, playing Rory Gilmore's love interest Jess Mariano from 2001 until his final appearance in 2006, and for his role as Peter Petrelli on the NBC TV series Heroes from 2006 to 2011.

He starred as Jack Pearson in the NBC series This Is Us from 2016 to 2022. For his role as Pearson, Ventimiglia has received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Ventimiglia made his film debut playing a gay teenager in the anthology film Boys Life 2 (1997) before being cast in the short-lived Fox series Opposite Sex in 2000.

His later roles include Richard Thorne on The WB's The Bedford Diaries, a recurring role as Meg Pryor's love interest on NBC's American Dreams, and Rocky Balboa's son (Rocky Jr.) in the sixth installment of the Rocky series, Rocky Balboa (2006). He also had roles in the horror film Pathology (2008) and Kiss of the Damned (2013).

Ventimiglia and fellow former Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel were in a relationship from December 2002 to June 2006. Ventimiglia also dated his Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere from December 2007 to February 2009.

Ventimiglia and his sisters were raised as lacto-vegetarians by their parents, and he has maintained this diet as an adult.
