Biography

American artist, the creator of pop sculpture that shows in Tempe museum and in private collections. An artist all of her life, she began sculpture c. 1973 and has sold pieces to the White House and to Henry Kissinger. The remarkable texture of her work has detail as precise as Bohrod's dew droplets on an apple, but in sculpture.

Youthful and attractive, she had one marriage at 17 for 12 years; three kids born in 1967, 1969 and 1970. As an avocation, she is an astrologer.

After a series of traumas, a house fire, a flood, a robbery, Carole began to move into a transformation of her art in the late '90s, moving from traditional pieces to representative sculptor. A huge, glossy coffee-table pictorial book of her pieces was released in early 1999.

Carole Feuerman as a Generator 1/3 in Human Design

HD Mechanics · Chapter 1/9

Generator 1/3 — Design at a Glance

Carole Feuerman revealed herself as someone with immense endurance, comparable to a workhorse that only optimally uses its strength when it feels inner consent for the task. As a Generator, she possessed abundant sacral energy, which was not released through independent initiatives but became effective only when she responded to signals from her environment. Her strategy involved waiting and then responding instinctively as soon as an internal signal of 'yes' sounded.

This design carried two specific risks: On one hand, there was a danger of burnout if she continuously engaged in activities that did not bring her joy and merely wasted her energy. On the other hand, there was the risk of frustration when external circumstances prevented her from continuing to work on her heart project despite still being full of power. Unlike other types who manifest through direct action, Carole Feuerman's energy flow worked only in a mode of reacting.

If she lived by this principle and responded to genuine impulses, she was rewarded with a deep sense of fulfillment. If she tried to override this mechanism and constantly initiated herself instead, it eventually led to persistent frustration and a noticeable lack of energy. Her strength did not lie in pushing forward but in the powerful, enduring response to what life offered her.

Sacral Authority

Carole Feuerman revealed herself as someone whose decision-making was based on immediate physical resonance. Her design showed a tendency to receive answers from the gut rather than seeking them through intellectual analysis, which results from her sacral authority available only to Generator types and aligns with their inner guidance strategy, simplifying the process. A prerequisite for this was an open emotional center that ensured these reactions were not impulsively or emotionally distorted.

Her inner voice expressed itself as a physical reaction to external stimuli: a grunt, hum, or loud 'mm-hm' signaled energy and vitality; a negative sound warned of misinvestment. When her sacral motor engaged, she had inexhaustible vitality and completed tasks with great enthusiasm, entirely without purposefulness but out of sheer joy in the doing.

Additionally, an enabling authority through an activated spleen center, possibly directly connected to the sacral center, gave her the ability for especially quick and spontaneous reactions. She had immediate access to her instinctive perception and physical well-being, from which she could reliably guide herself. This configuration allowed Carole Feuerman to make decisions quickly based on a deep, bodily intuition that carried her through life.

The 1/3 Profile — Investigator / Martyr

Carole Feuerman revealed herself as someone who not only gathers knowledge but actively tests it through practical application. Her design showed a tendency to connect theoretical understanding with hands-on experimentation – a pattern typical for her Profile 1/3. People with this profile are natural researchers and adventurers; they learn through trial and error.

Line 1 in her chart stands for dedication behind the scenes and appreciation of creative effort, even without immediate recognition. This combined with the energy of Line 3, which demands trying things out and learning from mistakes. While Line 1 sometimes tends to hesitate due to fear of insufficient knowledge, Line 3 urges implementation. Carole Feuerman's judgment on a matter was therefore only trustworthy if she had previously tested it both theoretically and practically.

Her process included recognizing potentials (Gate 46) and testing extreme strategies (Gate 15). Through this mechanism of self-inflation and controlled experimentation, she developed insights that were not derived from mere theory but validated through her own experience. She remained true to herself by going through her own learning curve rather than fulfilling external expectations.

Split Definition — Defined & Open Centers

Carole Feuerman revealed herself through a firm inner identity and a clear sense of direction in life. Her defined G Center gave her the ability to love others without being dependent on them, as well as the potential to show other people new perspectives or paths. This constancy in self-perception formed the core of her presence.

At the same time, she possessed an immense vital energy source. Her defined Sacral Center generated a constant stream of power every day that required activity and personal expression. The proper use of this energy depended on responding to questions with an immediate yes or no answer rather than taking initiative. Only through this reaction could she make her full strength available and avoid frustration.

Her defined Spleen Center provided strong body awareness and intuition in the present moment. It allowed her to spontaneously recognize what was healthy and correct based on a momentary instinct that could not be rationalized. This was complemented by her defined Root Center, which delivered a steady pressure to move forward and master existential challenges.

In contrast, her mental and emotional centers were open. Her open Head and Ajna Centers meant she did not have consistent mental inspiration but reacted flexibly to ideas from the environment. She tended to understand the pressure or find answers that were not her own issue, which could lead to confusion if she did not trust her inner authority.

Her open Heart Center lacked a constant willpower. She was vulnerable to feeling the need to prove her worth or keep promises to be recognized – a trap that can lead to exhaustion as she is not designed for competition. Her open Solar Plexus absorbed and amplified emotions from the environment, leading her to experience foreign feelings as her own or avoid confrontation to maintain stability. This openness required conscious distancing from others' emotional waves to maintain clarity.

Channels for logical clarity and persistent determination.

Carole Feuerman showed a basic attitude based on seeking hidden truth, connected with the need to convey insights in such a way that others can actually receive them. This configuration describes a life task: uncovering hidden connections and passing them on to others.

This impulse was shaped by Channel Judgment 58-18, which linked the living energy of the Root Center with the correcting intuition of the Spleen Center, fostering an insatiable drive for perfectionism and pattern recognition. Logic had to prove that it had the best answers; it was about correcting what was out of balance to preserve collective joy.

At the same time, Channel Discovery 29-46, connecting Sacral and G Centers, emphasized persistence: diving into deep experiences with positive yes-saying without having expectations for the process. Only those who fully immersed themselves in the experience could discover new truths at the right place and time and share them later.

Additionally, prioritized gates contributed to individual expression. Gate 25 brought a spiritual stance of innocence and mystical centering, while Gate 15 reflected collective behavior and natural rhythms in societies. Gate 10 in the G Center supported integration through genetically predetermined behavioral rules at the right time. In her design, Gate 2 made her receptive to new evolutionary directions, and Gate 39, which prompted mutations through provocation and analysis. Finally, Gate 52 demanded a self-imposed pause for concentration on pattern correction, where stress could arise without clear goals. These elements collectively formed a path of deep, persistent search for corrected truths.

Collective Circuitry — Circuit Signature

Carole Feuerman was marked by two separate, parallel acting energetic poles. One pole connected the Spleen with the Root Center through Channel Judgment (Gates 18/58). This created an intuitive ability to immediately recognize risks and dangers – not through logical analysis but through a direct, physical 'sixth sense'. This energy served to improve structures and share rational insights free from conditioning. It worked focused and future-oriented, with the Spleen filtering what was essential and the Root Center providing the necessary impulse for handling.

The second pole connected the Identity with the Sacral Center via Channel Discovery (Gates 46/29). Here it was about emotional wave movements and finding meaning in past experiences. This connection allowed a deep, cyclical understanding of feelings that only became clear after going through an emotional wave. The insight from this past was used to share with the collective and learn together.

As Carole Feuerman has a Split Definition, these two systems – the intuitive ratio of the future and the emotional reflection of the past – exist as independent forces alongside each other. They do not flow directly into one another but stand as separate yet equally valuable resources: once for quick, instinctive judgments, the other time for deep, felt sense-making.

Right Angle Cross of the Vessel of Love 3

Carole Feuermann's design indicated a tendency towards deep, often unspoken dedication to emotional connections. She was someone who understood the power of love not just as a feeling but as structural support and vessel for interpersonal dynamics. This configuration describes a life task where the heart does not beat in isolation but serves as a central container that shapes and carries relationships.

The mechanics of this design point towards an internal architecture designed to collect and stabilize emotional resonance. It is less about superficial affects than how deep bonds shape self-understanding and protect it. Carole Feuermann worked through her ability to create spaces of intimacy where others could feel secure. Her design emphasized the importance of loyalty and emotional depth as a foundation for any interaction.

This orientation does not necessarily mean a passive role but rather an active shaping of the emotional climate around her. She acted as a stabilizer in relationships by using her own emotional integrity as an anchor. The challenge always lay in maintaining personal boundaries while keeping the vessel of love open to enable authenticity and trust. Her path was marked by seeking connections that touched not just superficially, but with substantial, sustaining quality.

Saturn Return · Uranus Opposition · Chiron Return · 2nd Saturn Return — Life Cycles

Carole Feuermann's design was characterized by clear milestones where long-term professional structures condensed. This is evident in two Saturn Returns. The first Saturn Return often marks the transition from an experimental phase to serious career practice, with inner maturity becoming visible externally. In 1971, at age 26, Feuerman began working on album covers for Alice Cooper and the Rolling Stones. This event underscores how in this cycle, initial professional identities crystallize into something substantial and recognition through established structures often occurs.

The second Saturn Return, typically occurring later in life, brings a deeper integration and affirmation of the previous path. Here it is less about new beginnings than integrating acquired wisdom into new forms. In 2003, at age 58, Feuerman received an assignment from Seward Johnson and the Sculpture Foundation to create a sculpture installation. This step illustrates how often in the second Saturn Return, the full impact of one's work unfolds and one takes on new creative challenges from an established position. Both cycles show how structural maturity and professional affirmation intertwine in her design.

HD Mechanics · Chapter 9/9

Generator · Sacral Authority — Synthesis

Carole Feuermann's design shows deep continuity in the connection between energy and verification. As a Generator with sacral authority (Sacral Center), she relies on her body's reaction to external stimuli to find her strength – an inexhaustible source as long as she engages in tasks that truly fulfill her. This inner guidance is reinforced by the defined G-Center, which provides a firm sense of self and direction. The Investigator/Experimentor Profile (Line 1/3) underscores this process: an unceasing search for knowledge through practical experimentation and verification to gain security and make well-founded judgments (Judgment Channel). Repeated professional successes in creative fields (as evidenced by Saturn Returns) seem to arise from the interplay of energy, testing, and validation.

A central paradox lies in the tension between the need for deep immersion into work – driven by the Sacral Center – and the investigative nature of the profile. While the Sacral Center demands an immediate reaction to the moment, Line 1/3 requires time for analysis and experimentation before feeling secure. This discrepancy can lead to internal conflict: the urge to dive in versus fear of being unprepared or making mistakes. The Mind Circuit amplifies this aspect by demanding constant questioning and optimization.
