Biography
At the age of 15, she was the first female skater to land the triple lutz in competition, which she performed for the first time at the 1978 European Championships. At the 1980 Winter Olympics, she won the free skating event and placed fourth overall.
The Biellmann spin was named after her, although she did not invent the spin but popularized it. It was present in skating at least since the 1965 European Championships when Tamara Moskvina performed it after being inspired by a gymnastics competition. It remains the only figure skating spin to be officially named after a person in ISU regulations. Nevertheless, by the end of her ISU career, the spin was causing her back pain. Biellmann retired from amateur competition shortly after her win at the 1981 World Championships.
Biellmann remained involved in the international figure skating community as a participant in both professional shows and competitions. She participated in the Eurovision Dance Contest 2007 representing Switzerland with partner Sven Ninnemann.
What does Projector 2/4 mean for Denise Biellmann?
Denise Biellmann is a Projector in Human Design – a non-energy type designed to guide and direct others. Projectors make up about 20% of humanity and have a special gift for recognizing and directing the energies and talents of others.
The Projector's strategy is to wait for the right, respectful invitation before contributing their guidance. Without an invitation, the Projector's wisdom is often unrecognized or even rejected.
When Denise Biellmann lives in alignment with their design, they experience success and recognition. The Projector's not-self theme is bitterness – a sign that their wisdom and guidance isn't being valued.
Denise Biellmann has Emotional Authority – the most common authority. Decisions should never be made in an emotional high or low, but only when emotional clarity settles in. "Sleep on it" is meant literally here. The emotional wave needs time to run its course.

The 4th line represents the Networker: influence and impact unfold through personal relationships and a strong social network.
