Biography
During the First World War, Walter Kaesbach volunteered for the medical service. He led an ambulance squad and thereby managed to include a number of artist friends in the medical service, saving them from direct deployment as a soldier at the front. Among these patronized artists were Max Beckmann, Erich Heckel, Anton Kerschbaumer, Heinrich Nauen and Otto Herbig.
From 1920 to 1924, Walter Kaesbach was director of the Municipal Museum in Erfurt. He was then appointed as Academy Director in Dusseldorf. During his directorate at the Erfurt Museum he exhibited Wassily Kandinsky, Lyonel Feininger, Paul Klee, Erich Heckel, Otto Mueller, Hermann Max Pechstein and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff.
As a result of the National Socialist (Nazi) art policy he went on leave in 1933 and then relinquished his position, and retired to Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance. He died on 24 June 1955 in Zülpich, aged 78.
Walter Kaesbach as a Generator 2/4 in Human Design
Walter Kaesbach is a Generator in Human Design – an energy type with a defined Sacral Center. Generators make up about 36% of humanity and possess an enormous, sustainable life force energy.
The Generator's strategy is to respond to impulses from life rather than initiating. When the Sacral Center responds with a clear "yes" (a gut feeling, an inner spark), that's the right path.
When Walter Kaesbach lives in alignment with their design, they experience deep satisfaction and fulfillment. The Generator's not-self theme is frustration – a sign that the sacral energy isn't following the right things.
Walter Kaesbach has Emotional Authority – the most common authority. Decisions should never be made in an emotional high or low, but only when emotional clarity settles in. "Sleep on it" is meant literally here. The emotional wave needs time to run its course.
Walter Kaesbach carries the profile 2/4 – Hermit / Opportunist. The 2nd line represents the Natural: a natural talent that is often unconscious and only activated when called out by others. The 4th line represents the Networker: influence and impact unfold through personal relationships and a strong social network.
The incarnation cross "Right Angle Cross of Laws 4" describes the overarching life purpose and direction of Walter Kaesbach in Human Design. It consists of the four gate activations of Sun and Earth (personality and design) and only becomes felt when one lives their strategy and authority.
