Only then, when his inner center – the belly – gave a clear “yes,” did he react with full intensity. This process of reacting was the key to his effectiveness. If he initiated independently, without this inner impulse, he quickly fell into frustration and lost energy, as he was working against his own nature.

The danger for him lay in the temptation to do things he actually had no interest in, or to be distracted from his true interest. Such distractions led to an energetic deficit, up to exhaustion. Living in harmony with his nature – by reacting to impulses and following his inner “yes” – his design rewarded him with a deep sense of fulfillment. His strength, therefore, was not constant action but the precise, energy-charged response to what he encountered.

Sacral Authority

Gilles Simon revealed himself as someone who did not make decisions in his head but reacted from the gut. His Generator design linked the strategy of waiting for the right impulse directly with sacral authority. This significantly simplified his decision-making process: he did not need to think but listen to his body.

Sacral authority manifested in him as an immediate physical reaction to external stimuli. If a surge of energy or an inner “yes” was present, he felt vital and energized. In these moments, he had an inexhaustible supply of energy and devoted himself to his tasks with great enthusiasm and joy, without the need for a specific goal. The work itself was sufficient.

Important was the condition that his emotional center was open. This protected the sacral reaction from impulsive emotional waves. Additionally, his activated spleen center acted as a supportive instance. It gave him the ability to act particularly quickly and spontaneously. Gilles Simon could rely on his instinctive perception and physical well-being. This combination of sacral energy and spleen-induced speed allowed him to be reliably guided by his inner compass as soon as a stimulus caught his attention.

The 3/5 Profile — Martyr / Heretic

Gilles Simon revealed himself as someone who learned through personal experimentation and later offered these practical insights to others. His Human Design Profile 3/5, that of the experimenter and hero, set this dynamic: Line 3 demands that one first experience everything personally and learn from mistakes before becoming an authority for others (Line 5). This created a natural attraction, as his experience was valuable to his surroundings. However, this role could be painful if experiments in public failed.

Additionally, the energy of the third line, emphasizing independence and self-stimulation, was at work. Gilles Simon could activate himself and was not dependent on external validation to get going. This independence, however, stood in tension with the necessity of exchange. The accompanying therapy line showed that relationships and collective process were crucial to maintaining psychological stability. Long-term isolation could have been destabilizing here. Gilles Simon learned in the collective and through relationships while simultaneously possessing the ability to carry himself. Split Definition — Defined & Open Centers

Gilles Simon revealed himself as someone with a clear inner orientation and a consistent voice. His defined G Center gave him a reliable sense of self-identity and direction, while the also defined Throat Center ensured that he could express this truth with honesty and clarity. This combination fostered an attitude that did not depend on external expectations but spoke from a deep trust in his Higher Self.

His actions were driven by a defined Sacral Center, which provided him with a vast source of vital energy. However, this power required him to respond to questions rather than initiate to avoid frustration. This endurance was supported by a defined Spleen Center, which gave him spontaneous, intuitive body awareness, as well as a defined Root Center, which provided the necessary pressure to advance in the material world and master challenges.

Yet, Gilles Simon was also vulnerable to external influences. His open Head Center made him susceptible to mental confusion or the pressure to find answers to questions that were not his own. The open Ajna Center meant that he absorbed concepts and opinions from the environment without identifying them as his own truth. Particularly challenging was his open Heart Center, which made him prone to wanting to prove his worth or make promises he couldn't keep to gain recognition. Additionally, his open Solar Plexus absorbed the emotions of others, making him emotionally vulnerable and causing him to experience foreign moods as his own. These open centers required him not to identify with the environment but to trust his inner authority.

Channels for inspiration, focus and critical judgment.

Gilles Simon revealed himself as someone who drew attention through his bold presence and way of moving. This effect did not stem from loud self-promotion but from the authentic expression of his individuality. The Channel of Inspiration 1-8 connects the G Center with the Throat Center and makes Gilles Simon a natural role model. Gate 1 brings in the mutative, creative perspective, while Gate 8 makes the contribution. He inspired others by living his own direction – much like a pianist whose playing inspires listeners to play the piano. His presence was the valve through which his unique identity entered the world.

At the same time, Gilles Simon possessed a deep, quiet concentration. The Channel of Concentration 52-9 connected his Root Center with his Sacral Center. Gate 52 generated a passive pressure towards stillness, while Gate 9 focused on details and facts. This formative energy allowed him to tune out distractions and fully immerse himself in a process to perfect it. He waited patiently for the reaction of his Sacral Center before acting, which allowed him to logically review and correct patterns.

This analytical sharpness was complemented by the Channel of Judgment 58-18. It connected his Root Center with his Spleen Center. Gate 58 drove the urge for vitality and improvement, while Gate 18 provided the corrective instinct. Gilles Simon was designed to question patterns and correct what was out of balance. His ability to judge served to regain joy in life by identifying inefficient or unhealthy structures.

Additionally, other Gates shaped his design: Gate 17 brought in the logic of succession and service, Gate 5 the rhythm of habits, Gate 54 the connection of worldly success and spirituality, Gate 46 the dedication to the physical process, Gate 50 the protection of values, Gate 14 the adept handling of power, Gate 10 the complex integration of beliefs, and Gate 28 the willingness to take risks in the here and now. This combination formed a person who worked through quiet presence, focused analysis, and corrective judgment.

Collective Circuitry — Circuit Signature

Gilles Simon revealed himself through his design as someone who walks his own path and transforms new insights. This attitude results from the Knowledge Circuit, which at him connects the Throat Center with the Identity Center. Through the Channel of Inspiration (Gate 1–8), energy flows that translates creative impulses into concrete expression. This coincided with the Uranus opposition, a period in Human Design often seen as a phase of dissolving old structures and necessary change. While the Saturn return stands for stability and results, the Uranus opposition acted as a catalyst for departure. It forces confrontation with what no longer serves and enables liberation from commitments that have lost their justification. Simon's path illustrates this shift from consolidation to necessary transformation, where the withdrawal is not read as failure, but as a consequent adaptation to a new life phase.

Sacral authority (Sacral Center) determines action through immediate reaction to stimuli, while the defined communication and manifestation area (Throat Center) gives these impulses a voice. The profile as an experimenter and hero (3/5) strengthens this process: experiences are collected, tested, and ultimately passed on as inspiration and knowledge (Channel 1-8). This cycle of experiencing, processing, and communicating seems to shape a way of life carried by active participation and the desire to make a contribution.

At the same time, a paradox becomes apparent between the impulsive, reactive sacral center and the need for authentic expression through the throat center. Although sacral energy is abundant, the knowledge circuit points to a deep necessity to filter this energy through creative innovation and one's own individuality before it is carried outward. The successful moments (2012) and the final withdrawal (2022) could be expressions of this tension – a give-and-take between absorbing energy and letting go to find one's own path.
