Biography

American rapper, songwriter, record producer and actor. He is best known as a rapper in the West Coast hip hop scene and for being one of Dr. Dre's signees under Aftermath. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his major-label debut album "The Documentary" and found continued success with the 2006 follow-up "Doctor's Advocate."

His latest album "1992" was released on 14 October 2016, and spawned two official singles.

Game has two sons and one daughter, Harlem Caron Taylor (born 2003), King Justice Taylor (born 2007) and California "Cali" Dream Taylor (born 2010).

Game announced that he was engaged to actress and model Valeisha Butterfield, the daughter of US Congressman G. K. Butterfield. The couple were set to marry in March 2007, but the engagement was called off in June 2006.

After the couple broke off their engagement, Game became involved in a relationship with Tiffney Cambridge, a sixth-grade teacher. VH1 broadcast two seasons of Marrying The Game, a reality television series about The Game and Cambridge, as they prepared to walk down the aisle. The relationship was "love at first sight" when Cambridge met Jayceon. Despite reservations regarding Game's career, the relationship lasted eight years, but no marriage plans materialized despite the series.

Human Design Analysis: The Game as Generator 1/4

HD Mechanics · Chapter 1/9

Generator 1/4 — Design at a Glance

The Game revealed itself through an enormous endurance potential, which was, however, strictly tied to the condition of waiting for inner signals. As a Generator, he possessed an abundance of sacral energy, making him a powerful 'workhorse' – provided he acted in harmony with his design. His greatest challenge lay in not initiating but reacting. If he did things without inner desire, he wasted this energy and risked burnout. Conversely, it led to frustration and energy deficiency when he was prevented from pursuing his heart's project, even though his inner self wanted to continue.

The motto for The Game was therefore: Do not start, but wait for a signal from life. Only when the sacral center responded with a clear 'yes' should he react through action. This process of waiting and reacting was the key to his effectiveness. Living by this strategy rewarded him with a deep sense of fulfillment. Ignoring this inner guidance and instead trying to take matters into his own hands sooner or later led to persistent frustration. His energy was thus not a free pass for constant action but a reservoir that only flows in response to an external invitation from the gut.

Emotional Authority

The Game's design laid a tendency towards emotional volatility that significantly influenced his decision-making. His inner authority was Emotional Authority, carried by the defined Emotional Center. According to Human Design rules, this authority always takes precedence over all other defined centers, regardless of further configurations. This meant that his perception of the world was always colored by the current mood: moments of intense enthusiasm alternated with phases of negative evaluation.

This mechanism does not describe stability but an emotional wave. The feeling in the moment was merely a snapshot, not a secured truth value. Quick, spontaneous decisions made directly from this transient emotion often proved detrimental, as they were based on incomplete inner clarity. The strategy of this design required patience. The Game had to give himself time to let decisions mature. Only through multiple nights of reflection and hesitation, did the intense feelings subside. With this distance, he gained emotional distance, allowing true clarity and calmness to set in. This process was essential for long-term realignments that influenced his life path. Only by going through this emotional wave could he reach the deeper truth of his authority.

The 1/4 Profile — Investigator / Opportunist

The Game revealed itself through a rare profile (1/4), combining deep research with a need for trusted networks. Line 1 drove the precise exploration of details and patterns, while Line 4 sought to share this knowledge within a close community. This created a dynamic in which The Game could build authority through thorough analysis, yet was always accompanied by the fear of not knowing enough and being exposed to loved ones.

This configuration required a loving environment with a strong trust base for his abilities to come to the fore. Without this security, heartache threatened through perceived inadequacy. At the same time, The Game was prone to burnout, as Line 4 required a balance between willpower and necessary rest phases. The tendency to prioritize quality over quantity helped avoid overloading, but required the use of correct opportunities within the network to take influence. Thus, The Game likely became an authority in his heart themes by creating new forms of problem-solving and knowing frustrations through continuous but carefully weighed efforts.

Split Definition — Defined & Open Centers

The Game revealed a design that combined a firm inner identity and direction with a strong, self-determined willpower. His defined G Center gave him a reliable sense of his own mission and the ability to guide others onto new paths without being dependent on them. At the same time, his defined Heart Center shaped his life; he enjoyed controlling his resources and work himself, keeping promises, and seeking recognition for his contributions. This combination marked him as someone who knew who he was and what he wanted, and who had the energy to make it happen.

His defined Sacral Center generated a constant vital energy that he used by reacting to life rather than initiating. His defined Solar Plexus Center acted as an inner authority, teaching him to make decisions only after riding the emotional wave to gain clarity. Additionally, he had a defined Spleen Center, which gave him spontaneous, intuitive intelligence in the present to recognize what was healthy for his well-being and survival.

On the other hand, his Head Center was open, making him vulnerable to mental pressure and others' questions; he tended to get entangled in problems that were not his own or seek inspiration to resolve confusion. His Ajna Center was also open, meaning he absorbed concepts and ideas from the environment but lacked a consistent personal opinion. His open Throat Center led him to seek attention or feel compelled to speak rather than waiting for invitations. Finally, his open Root Center absorbed external stress, causing him to rush or show hyperactivity to escape this foreign pressure rather than trusting his inner authority.

Channels for intimacy, intuitive form and community.

The Game's design showed a tendency towards deep intimacy, paired with an intuitive, self-referential creativity. This configuration revealed someone who experienced relationships not as superficial contacts but as powerful emotional waves that required patience and time to condense.

The Pairing Channel 59-6 connects the Sacral Center with the Solar Plexus Center through the Gate of Sexuality (59) and the Gate of Friction (6). This tribal channel is at the core of the creative essence of humanity, rooted in a quantum energy referred to as intimacy. The sexual energy of Gate 59 meets the emotional wave of pleasure and pain from Gate 6. This brings people into relationships that are personal, penetrating, and potentially fruitful. The Game had the ability to quickly penetrate the aura of others and ease confidentiality. However, the emotional wave through Gate 6 determined the timing of each release of intimate feelings, acting attractively or repulsively. Waiting for this cycle was necessary to gain clarity about whether a genuine connection had formed. Without this patience, the channel could cause confusion and overly complicate social interactions.

Parallel to this, the Channel of Perfect Form 57-10 connected the Spleen Center with the G Center through the Gate of Intuitive Insight (57) and the Gate of Self Behavior (10). This is the creative channel of integration, the art of survival. It projected a quality of behavior guided by intuitive awareness and based on self-love. Gate 57 carried an acoustic sensitivity to the quality of tones in the environment, while Gate 10 steered behavior to perfect one's life. The Game could move existentially and unburdened through the world by letting go of unfounded future fears. This spontaneous, appropriate action secured survival in the present and left the environment healthier and more beautiful, not through intention but through example.

The Channel of Community 37-40 connected the Solar Plexus Center with the Heart Center through the Gate of Friendship (37) and the Gate of Solitude (40). It secured tribal business through emotional clarity over time and the willpower to succeed. The Game sought recognition and his place in the whole, understanding that a good business could not be spontaneous but had to be carefully considered and formulated over time. This channel built bridges for individuals to live in a community where everyone had an honorable place. Support was not based on material things but on what was needed to work side by side and make progress together.

Additionally, prioritized gates like Gate 9 (detail work, taming), Gate 16 (experimenting, mastery), Gate 55 (emotional awareness, mood swings), Gate 21 (control, material success), Gate 32 (continuity, tribal connection), Gate 29 (perseverance, saying yes), Gate 1 (uniqueness, creativity), and Gate 26 (innovation, sales) contributed further facets. Gate 9 enabled focused work on details, while Gate 16 led to mastery through experimenting. Gate 55 brought extreme mood swings, Gate 21 control over material things, Gate 32 continuity and fear of failure, Gate 29 perseverance, Gate 1 unique creativity in the here and now, and Gate 26 the ability to anchor innovations in the tribe. These gates shaped The Game's ability to work on details, experiment, become emotionally aware, control material aspects, maintain continuity, persevere, be uniquely creative, and anchor innovations.

Tribal Circuitry — Circuit Signature

The Game's design inclined towards cooperative action and instinctive protection. The chart shows shared definition: two energetically separate blocks exist parallel without direct exchange. The first block connects Heart, Solar Plexus, and Sacral Center. Here, the Ego Circuit (Channel 37-40) and the Archer Circuit (Channel 6-59) work together. The Ego Circuit promotes mutual support and resource exchange within a group but requires pauses, as the constant life force does not flow solely from the Sacral Center. The Archer Circuit adds primal protective and nurturing energies to secure family survival. Both circuits share the Solar Plexus Center, linking emotional waves with social dynamics. The second, isolated block connects the Identity and Spleen Centers through the Integration Circuit (Channel 10-57). This channel represents the 'perfect form': intuitive insight from the Spleen meets the self-understanding of identity. As this block is separate from the first, this inner clarity remains independent of the interpersonal or familial obligations of the first block. The Game thus showed someone who oscillated between the responsibility for community and family and autonomous, intuitive self-discovery, without these spheres energetically overlapping.

Right Angle Cross of Planning 4

The Game revealed through the right cross of Planning 4 as someone whose inner structure is aligned with a specific kind of preparation and intentionality. This configuration in the Human-Design chart indicates that actions do not arise impulsively or purely reactively, but are shaped by a process of inner planning.

In Human-Design, the right cross of Planning 4 describes an energetic alignment that aims to clearly define one's intentions before acting and to rethink the path to them. It is not about rigid control, but about the ability to organize one's resources and ideas so that they can be effectively translated into reality. The Game thus had a natural tendency to not just experience situations, but to actively shape them by first mentally going through the necessary steps.

This mechanism acts as an inner compass, ensuring that energy is not scattered but focused. For The Game, this meant that his effectiveness depended strongly on how well he utilized this planning phase. Without this inner structuring, he tended to get lost in the variety of possibilities. With it, however, he could break down complex connections into manageable units and thus take a clear direction. The right cross of Planning 4 thus shaped his way of dealing with challenges: through preparation, clarity, and a conscious alignment with the goal, rather than being driven by external circumstances.

Saturn Return · Uranus Opposition — Life Cycles

The Game showed a clear tendency to solidify and publicly declare his artistic identity during specific astrologically conditioned life phases. His design suggested that he was ready at certain points in time to establish long-term structures or radically change existing patterns to renew his expression.

This mechanism became evident in 2007, at the age of 28: The Game announced that he would release his next album, "LAX," in the summer of 2008. This first Saturn return often marks the transition from an experimental phase to established responsibility. The announcement here served as a signal for a new, sustainable structure in his career, based on years of groundwork.

Later, in 2019 at the age of 40, another dynamic shift occurred: the release of his ninth solo album, "Born 2 Rap." This fell during the phase of the Uranus opposition, a period often associated in Human Design with the necessity to break free from old bonds and take new, more authentic paths. Instead of falling into stagnation, The Game used this pressure to renew himself. The album was not just a product but an expression of a necessary transformation that allowed him to further develop his music without compromising his own integrity. Both events underscore how his chart-conditioned cycles directly correlated with his creative productivity and public presence.

HD Mechanics · Chapter 9/9

Generator · Emotional Authority — Synthesis

A central red thread runs through the design: the deep connection to one's own sacral energy (Generator Type, Pairing Channel) and the necessity to channel this energy into fulfilling activities. The ability to generate knowledge through deep exploration (Line 1 in Profile) is inseparable from the desire to share this knowledge within a familiar community and thereby exert influence (Line 4). This is reinforced by the defined identity (G Center), which implies a natural ability to lead and show new paths – though always in harmony with inner, emotional authority. The recurring emphasis on energy generation and direction, combined with the need for community and guidance, points to a life revolving around the creation and passing on of something valuable.

A central paradox lies in the tension between the emotional wave (emotional authority) and the sacral drive (Generator). While sacral energy invites immediate reaction and productive action, emotional authority requires time and maturation of decisions. This creates a field of tension between the desire to give in to the energy and the necessity not to blindly surrender to it, but to filter it through emotional clarity. This is evident in the documented events showing career boosts (2007, 2019), which clearly coincide with the manifestation of this inner dynamic.
